Rick has lived his whole life, with few exceptions, deeply in the closet. He has finally decided to set himself free and meeting Jack shows him that he made the right decision.
Jack is tired of being alone. His best friend has found a man, why is he unable to find a special someone? Jack is less than enthusiastic about an indirect order from his boss to join the resident gym. He leaves his friends behind only to find that the grass just may be greener on the other side.
Rick comes with some serious baggage that Jack never planned on having in his life. With the nosey ex-wife, children and closet case, can Rick be too much for Jack or will he find it A Risk Worth Taking?
A Risk Worth Taking is a poignant story of one man untangling the webs he has woven in order to live the life he was meant for. Carolyn Levinn Topol provides a perfect story of how love comes in many forms and sometimes it just takes another point of view to find it. Jack and Rick are both well developed characters that engage the reader and keep them cheering for the good guys. The ending provides a ray of hope that life does happen for a reason and that a risk is worth taking.
