ANALYSIS OF LOVE
Rating: 3 Cups
Catalina is a thirty five year old investigative reporter. She is very comfortable with her sexuality and is not above using it to further her own or her employer’s ends.
Evan is an analyst. He is very good at helping people through their problems. He is very empathetic in spite of or possibly because of his blindness.
Catalina’s employer, known to his staff as the Big Bad Wolf, has yet another unsavory assignment for his star reporter. His son has turned his back on the family business to become a teacher in the ghetto. BBW wants Catalina to expose the therapist as a fraud and bring his son back into the fold. Catalina is at a disadvantage; she is unable to use her bombshell looks to further her goals, and the doctor has the ethics and integrity that she no longer has. The doctor famous for helping his patients “find their bliss” has his work cut out for him this time.
I really enjoyed this story but Catalina can be very difficult to like. In the beginning she epitomizes everything most people dislike about the press and her boss is worse than she is. She has few morals and scruples, which is strange given the description of her family. Evan, on the other hand, can be almost too good to be true, but he is very likable and strong willed. The plot is easy to follow and the love scenes are very well written.
