AN ALPHA’S PRIDE
Book #2 in the Tribal Bonds Series
Erotic Romance, Alternative (M/M or F/F), Paranormal, Vampires/Werewolves
Rating: 4 Cups
Daniel Everson is the electus of his vampire tribe. He has just discovered that is mate is an alpha werewolf. Not the best thing considering vampires and werewolves are enemies. Still he knows of at least one couple that made it work, and he hopes to as well.
Carlton Gregory is an alpha werewolf and mate to Daniel. He is used to getting his way and being in charge. He is about to find out that in charge is the last thing he will be in the future.
When Daniel meets Carlton and discovers he is his anamchara or destined mate, he knows that the only way he will be able to keep Carlton is to force him to submit to him. Not an easy thing by any means. While Daniel successfully kidnaps Carlton, and ties him to his bed, as well as, doing something that prevents him from shifting, getting Carlton to submit is going to be harder than he thought. But when Carlton gives him what he wants, Daniel has to wonder if it is truly what he wants after all because Carlton is so furious when he is finally freed that he does the unthinkable before escaping back to his pack. However, when it becomes apparent they have some traitors in their midst, the two must work together to weed out the bad seeds. Will they be able to learn to trust and love each other in the process or will one of them be left a broken man?
I truly enjoyed an An Alpha’s Pride. It was very interesting to see how Ms. Glenn brought these two rough alpha males together. I admit I had my doubts about how successfully any author could bring together two such alike in many ways men, but as usual, she did it in a very believable way. The sex is way past scorching, but in typical Stormy Glenn fashion there is plenty of emotional connection which in my mind is key to a stellar romance. If you love m/m, and are looking for a love story that is not the norm, then I highly recommend An Alpha’s Pride! I for one cannot wait for the next book in this series.
