Alyssa Franklin is a young and beautiful woman. She loves her foster family and is happy and safe with them, although she misses her parents.
Michael Masters is the youngest of the Masters' brothers. He knows Alyssa is his mate and does not want to share her.
Tyler Evans is from Alyssa’s home pack and has spent the last several years at college getting a master’s degree in finance. He never dreamed when his pack leader sent him to spy on Alyssa, that she was his true mate.
Alyssa was forced to run away from her pack when she turned eighteen. Her pack leader had arranged her marriage to his sixty-five year old brother who already had three other wives. She meets two fellow lupines who take her home with them to Oregon and the Masters' family. The Masters take her in and make her one of the family. The youngest member, Tyler, knows she is his mate but leaves the country to give her time to grow up. She scents another mate and it is time for him to come home to claim her and protect her from her former pack.
Alyssa is a compelling character who took the initiative to run away from an intolerable situation and was fortunate to find the Masters family. They have a tendency to share women, which is the complete opposite of the pack she came from, and she is naturally a bit apprehensive. She is unable to resist Tyler and Michael and the author does a good job of describing the conflicts and problems that arise when two alpha males find they share the same true mate. Ms. Jameson has done a great job of creating two different and appealing male characters. This story is very difficult to put down, so I did not, and I enjoyed every word.
