Trey and Sadie are now the accepted Alpha and Lupa of Trey’s pack. Acceptance was never assumed or assumed considering Sadie is a vampire. The Shepherds are back and the pack needs Sadie more than ever as she is powerful enough to save them all.
All Trey wants to do is protect and care for Sadie but the world is determined to get in the way. In order to win the fight he must allow Sadie to put herself in danger, but if something were to happen to her there would be no going on.
The Alpha of the pack must be willing to sacrifice it all for his pack, but losing Sadie would be more than he could stand. Can they save their pack members, swing the power of the war their way, and keep each other safe? It will be one heck of a war but neither is willing to go down without a fight.
Aline Hunter's talent for spinning a tale shines through in Alpha Mine. She brings to life a pack of characters who each offer a piece of the story. The shuffling from one story to the next is dizzying in the beginning, but the revelation of each piece of the puzzle brings the picture into focus. I would recommend the reader take the time to read the first books in the series as it will make reading Alpha Mine more enjoyable and less confusing. Alpha Mine is a chapter in a story full of adventure, tension, and sizzling hot love. Some characters endear themselves to the reader and others make it difficult not to want to kick some sense into them. I recommend giving the Alpha and Omega series a read.
