Cleo is a corporate trainer and very good at her job. She is very attractive but feels that her sister is prettier and more fun. She is married with no children.
Justin is a graphic artist, single and very successful with women. He laughs easily and has very close friends, but no steady significant other.
Cleo is excited about going to a reunion of some of her college friends, but her husband is not so happy, in fact he is incredibly jealous and unreasonable. After a fight, he storms out leaving a vile message on the wall. Cleo is upset and goes to find her sister and confidant, but Liza is not at her usual haunt. Enter the sexy and attractive Justin who sweeps her off her feet and into his bed. Afterward, she attempts to put her marriage back together, but Justin is always at the back of her mind. When she finds she is pregnant, he moves to the front, but he is angry and not willing to talk to her. Their relationship is anything but smooth.
This is an enjoyable story with engaging characters and plot full of romantic twists and turns. I felt sorry for Cleo, she did make a mistake, but the price she paid was a bit too much. Despite his rigid attitude, I really liked Justin and could understand his hurt. Gav is a bit of a puzzle who swings from angry to needy. This author always tells a great story, and this one is no exception. It holds your attention from the first page to the last.
