Police Chief Grace Wallace hates serial killers. Now four dead bodies have appeared on her watch, and for sure it is not good for the recently nominated chief.
Ian McHenry is a special agent with the FBI. He and Grace have worked a case in Philly, similar to the murders happening now. Even though they parted ways, he has never been able to get her out of his dreams.
On taking over the position of Police Chief, hunting down a serial killer is not what Grace expected. After the FBI is called in, she is none too happy that Ian McHenry is heading up the investigation. Having worked with him before, she has ended up with a mutilated heart. As the slayings resemble the ones in Philly, Grace finds it hard to believe it could be the same killer. Then again, she and Ian are not sure what to believe after learning that maybe a vampire is behind it all. As they become increasingly close, things heat up, not only with the killer but also with them. As they race against the clock, their past love lands in their hearts once again.
A Hunter’s Angel is an enticing good read. I absolutely love the characters, especially Ian and the way he is painted. Ian is a protector any woman would cherish. The way he and Grace bond, with their on and off situation, is written with great dialogue and intensity, making the story thoroughly engaging as they forge full swing into some thrilling events. Ms. DuBois pens a convincing story that fascinates with action-packed suspense and romance that sears the pages.
