AGAINST THE WALL
Rating: 4 Cups
Sophie is a city girl assigned to the country to get a golf course built. If she fails, her uncle will lose his company. She is side-lined by the sexy lawyer of the local tribe who she finds difficult to resist.
Jake is unable to resist Sophie from the moment he sees her. Unfortunately, she has two strikes against her: she is a developer for the project he and his tribe opposes, and she is a city girl.
A lifetime of negative words regarding being an artist led Sophie into a career she is less passionate about. Trapped between family loyalty and the people she is coming to care for leaves Sophie out in the cold. When circumstances change, will Sophie roll with the punches or run for the bright lights of the city?
Against the Wall is a wonderfully romantic story. Jake is the very best hero, and hot to boot. I was as interested in the world in which Sophie and Jake lived, and I look forward to reading the continuing story of the other characters in the book. Rebecca Zanetti successfully offers the reader an entertaining and heartwarming read.
