Delany Wilson finds Logan rude and no gentleman. She is determined to turn him into the sheriff for his conduct but one close encounter with him makes her faint with desire.
Logan is upset when he sees the girl hitting a longhorn which spells trouble. He saves her just in time, only to discover she is nothing but a walking catastrophe. Yet one look at her body and he turns to mush. He is not too happy she almost stampeded his cows, not to mention ruin his new boots and hat. She is nothing but a nuisance, but the attraction for her is strong then again it could be the wild lust. Delany is upset when she meets Logan. She is there to visit her brother, Josh, who happens to be good friends with Logan. Soon the two find they cannot help but run into each other. When someone steps up to claim Delany as his bride, will she marry the man she does not like for the man her heart has found treasure?
A Dangerous Woman is an entertaining read. The delightful characters have this on again, off again little menace, of meeting each other, by chance that only makes the read more fun. The addition of the secondary players allows the story to flow at a good pace. Mysty McPartland has penned a hands down enjoyable tale that kept this reader turning the pages. She paints the scenes so genuine that it was easy to visualize the situations between Delany and Logan. This is a story I could read again and still find it pleasurable.
