Dare is really Adair, and he is on the run from his Ivy League life and runs right into the arms of a Dom. Barely finding his place in the world, his new friend introduces him to his sub. He is confused by his place in the world and their lives.
Roman has never been in love with anyone other than his sub, Jeff. Jeff loves the idea of new love and continues to drag new people into his life with the permission of his master.
What is a submissive to do when his master finds someone to love after a decade together? Is there a place for all of them, or is Dare a threat to his position or as much as a straight man can be a threat? But is Dare straight? How far will two subs go for the man they call Master?
I happen to be a huge fan of erotic sex, no matter whether m/m, f/f, f/m or any combination thereof but I have never read a dominant/submissive story that allowed me to be in the heads of all participants and let me see and feel how they feel. I must admit at first I felt bad for Dare because I thought he was going to get hurt, but that was my ignorant thinking. SM Johnson truly is a master of the art of dominance and submission. This is the first book I have read by SM Johnson but I can assure you it will not be my last. If you are a fan of Dom/sub stories then this is the one for you.
