WEREWULF JOURNALS: HUNTING CHASE

Andrea is a breed, a child of a werewulf and a human. She has loved Chase ever since she first laid eyes on him, recognizing him as her true mate.
Chase is an Alpha, and Andrea’s fiancé. He is quite a bit older than she is, and is waiting for her to grow up so he can mate her.
Andrea loves Chase, but she does not believe he loves her and this fact is brought home to her more than ever when she asks him to take her to her senior prom and he refuses. Hurt beyond words, she asks her best friend Josh to take her and he agrees. However, when Chase, in a last minute bid to be fair to Andrea and to give her something she truly wants, arrives and sees Josh and Andrea kissing in an effort to make another friend jealous, Chase sees red. The action pushes him over the edge causing him to almost kill the boy, and it takes some serious fast talking on Andrea’s part to save Josh. It is from that point that Chase begins to seriously stake his claim, but is that all he is doing? Or, are stronger emotions at work here? While Andrea works to find that answer, tragedy strikes and only time will tell what the future holds.
I absolutely loved Werewulf Journals: Hunting Chase! This is one of those books that you pick up, start reading and do not put down until you have read the final page. The action is non-stop, and Andrea’s snarky friend, Shelley, is a wonderful sidekick. Ms. Anthony does a fabulous job of fleshing out all the characters, and they feel like old friends by the end of the book. All the characters are stunningly realistic. The world of the werewulves is so well put together that you feel as though this branch of shape shifters could step right off the pages and talk to you. While this book is part of a series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone book. Oh, and the sex is to die for! I personally plan to get all of the books in this series, and urge anyone who loves werewolves to do so as well!
