UNHEARD MELODIES: CONFESSIONS OF A POETIC MUSE
Wings Press, Inc.
Rating: 4 Cups
Fanny Brawne, while remembering her dead love, does not remember ever feeling so alive until she meets John Keats. He makes her feel as no other man has. She longs to be his wife and have a happy future with him.
John Keats is a poet; he is also poor and has nothing to offer Fanny but his love and poetry. He also feels responsible to take care of his family no matter the cost.
There is the constant thought in their minds that John may also contract the same illness most of his family has died from. Both Fanny and John wish and hope that marriage will come soon, but many delays make that impossible.
This is a sweet yet bittersweet romance that makes you wonder why there is such heartache. Yet in circumstances like this, we can also take away so much more than heartache. Well rounded, this story is one I think you shall enjoy with its quirky characters and tragic romance.
