He knew all about her, from her ex psycho husband, to her special powers of premonition. He also knew he was the man that could protect her. He had been trained by the United States Military Special Forces and he would use all his training to keep her safe.

Aislinn never wanted to be with another man, and who could blame her after what she had learned from being with her ex-husband. But her Boss, Mr. Turner, made her quiver with a wanting she did not know how to deal with. Kyle was determined to break through that icy exterior that Aislinn showed to the world. He wanted her, and he wanted to teach her that not all men were cruel.

For a short story this book packs a punch. What a great tale of love, trust, and redemption. Ms. McKenna knows how to write love stories. Her sex scenes heat up the page and make the reader pant with wanting. You find yourself wishing you were the one receiving Kyle’s attention. She grabs hold of you and does not let you go until the book ends. I loved reading this book and it definitely deserved the 4 cup rating I gave it.
