Lilian Loring is not only beautiful, but feisty. She is very hesitant about heading to the altar like her sister but that was before Heath enters her life and causes her world to turn upside down. His unsettling effect on her makes her breathless.
Heath Griffin, the Marquess of Claybourne, is a nobleman and never has any woman trying to fend off his advances until he meets Lilian. Her presence enchants him but she is one woman who is about to give him a chase for her love.
Lilian wonders if her sister made the right choice by marrying a man she only knew for a couple of months. As for Lilian, she is reluctant to wed any man until Heath enters her life and his charm drives her mad. He heard she was a spitfire and hoyden but after dancing with her and spending some time alone, he is smitten. Never one to marry unless he can find one to match him in his adventures, it appears he need look no further, Lilian is his choice, but she does not wish any involvement with him. He knows her heart speaks differently. Lilian is determined to get Heath out of her mind. Trying to forget his simple touch and a kiss that makes her wish for more, Lilian has but one choice. She must flee Heath’s charm and seduction by taking refuge in a London pleasure house, certain he will never find her and for once she can erase his powerful sexual. Lilian never knew Heath’s chase for her hand in marriage could be so intriguing.
To Seduce a Bride is one sexy read. Watching the chase of Heath and Lilian was like watching a great tennis match. Heath has charm and sex appeal that just drips off the pages. I loved the spirited Lilian. Nicole Jordan crafts a stunning tale with characters that leave a lasting impression. I love how she shows the depth of the characters emotions, how they fight to stay apart, only to build up the passion and heighten their love even more. I could even visualize the jealousy often with Heath when he went after Lilian. Their chemistry is strong, the dialogue exquisite and the writing superb. Nicole Jordan spins a tale that carried this reader straight into the ambience of every breathtaking page.
