Jake and Les become lovers. Jake has not been this happy in centuries but is worried what will happen when Les finds out what he is. He keeps his secret hidden until the day Les sees him in the barn with the foreman. He could not believe it. But if it were true, could Les stay at the ranch or would he leave?

Shayne Carmichael weaves an interesting tale. I enjoyed the mixture of old and new and he brings both to life brilliantly. I truly loved reading this book as it flowed smoothly from one chapter to the next. He does not let his readers down when it comes to the hot and steamy sex scenes. The pages flare and are sure to set off your smoke alarms. This is one story you should not pass up.
