While on her way home she falls asleep in a taxi, but she awakens in 1821 England, with no idea how she has arrived there. This may be a startling turn of events, but once in the past, Sarah is not sure whether she wants to return to her own time.

Earl Drake Hayworth needs to marry in order to gain his full inheritance. It is not something he desires, and he has already decided he will marry only for convenience, never for love. There is too much risk of losing his heart in a love match, and far too great a chance of losing a woman he cares for in childbirth.

Drake has no idea that the woman he catches mid faint will also be the female to capture his heart. The more Sarah and Drake argue, the greater the pull of passion between them, until they are drawn by a force stronger than either of them can deny. Happily ever after will not come easily for these two lovers. Drake must overcome his fears of a love match, and Sarah must make a choice, between her present or her future. If she returns to her own time, she will lose Drake forever.

I really enjoyed reading this story. Drake is the kind of man every girl would like to call her own. Sarah is a strong willed twenty-first century female that today's woman can relate to. The entire story is wonderfully written! Kelly Kirch creates a world which pulls in the reader and then refuses to let go. This is a romantic tale that you will want to read again and again.

Warning: This story is categorized as a historical romance, but it is really a Paranormal Time travel novel.
