The Wooden Nickel is a wonderful story of two people’s love that lasted a life time and beyond. Alisha Paige takes the reader through some of the darkest points in world history and pulls you out the other side right along with the characters in her book to a place of love and happiness. The over all story is such a wonderful read, and the characters are ones you instantly fall in love with. The story starts out a little slow at first but quickly picks up, and keeps you hanging until the very end. I really enjoyed this story of love and hope.
