But she is too busy trying to rescue him from Napoleon to be rescued herself.

It is a merry chase of cat and mouse between Arabella and Christopher, and neither can quite figure the other one out. A battle of wills ensues, but before they know it, more than just tempers have ignited between them. With intrigue and murder around every corner, can these two find a way to make things work between them before one of them ends up dead? Arabella will risk everything to try and save not only the man she loves, but other members of her family—can she succeed before time runs out for her and Christopher?

Marly Mathews has written a story filled with intrigue, love, and suspense, which will set readers a-flame. The battle of wills between the two main characters is quite diverting at first, though by the end of the story is slightly passé. Over all, this is a nice story, that I enjoyed reading. It has some great love scenes, even if the pacing slowed a bit in the middle, and the character of Arabella was really very amusing. This tale was an easy read and, for the most part, quite entertaining.
