Rodger Hawthorne wants to believe in ghosts, especially that of his beloved wife Sarah. Tired of fake psychics and paranormal experts, he goes on television and issues a challenge for someone to prove beyond a doubt that ghosts do exist, but he really does not expect anyone to take him up on his offer.
The Spirit Seekers Circle is a group of women who are online friends that share an interest in the supernatural, ghosts and the afterlife. The Million Dollar Challenge is the perfect opportunity for them to connect in person and to earn a million dollars. Fenella is not a member but fits in well with the group.
A group of paranormal experts set out to prove to a reclusive millionaire that ghosts do exist. He requests a particular ghost, his late wife who was killed in a tragic car accident. The house is chock full of spirits, some friendly, some not and some unexpected.
This is an eerie ghost story with a good bit of humor also. Henri is my favorite character. The women in the Circle are very different from each other, but good friends. Each has their own skill to contribute and a desire to win the million-dollar prize. The ending is a bit of a surprise and a clever one at that.
