Jennifer is running away in her wedding dress from a wedding that never was. Jilted at the altar, she decides to go on her defaulted honeymoon by herself and just get away from it all.

Dr. Jared Smoelinski is running after Jennifer, his high school sweetheart, and hops on the same plane as her, not quite sure what to do next except maybe get her back into his life again.

Jennifer never expected her fiancé to up and disappear just prior to the wedding. After that disastrous event, she runs off immediately to catch the flight to take her on her honeymoon sans husband. Little does she know that her first boyfriend Jared has followed her. Intent on getting Jennifer back in his life and win her love, he pursues her on the honeymoon vacation. She is so over men and their lies and is not ready to let Jared back into her life except maybe as a friend.

This starts off with an interesting mixture of emotions and some fun but trite expressions from both parties. It is a fair representation of what can happen if the jilted party vacations on the planned out honeymoon. It was a stretch for me although Jared seems to be true; Jennifer never took to me as easily, most likely since we never learn her last name. It is a good read and a decent story, yet I found it just a little lacking over all, what is missing I am not quite sure, just that feeling. I am positive most will enjoy it and find it a fun read overall. There is one really fun scene though in the hotel hallway between the two you do not want to really miss no matter what, it definitely has its good moments.
