THE KANDY SHOPPE

Kandace or “Kandy” as she is called owns and operates an old-fashioned ice cream shop. The business was left to her by her grandfather Karl and it is very important to her to keep the business in the family.
Jason Chapman and his brother own and operate an air-conditioning and refrigeration company that they took over after their father retired.
When Kandy’s freezer breaks down again, she finds herself with the sexy Jason in her shop again. After Jason refused to have sex with her five years before, she has put him on her off-limits list. Despite this, she is still very attracted to him, and having him in her shop is not helping her resolve to stay away from him one bit. However, Jason has grown up and decided that he wants Kandy. Can he convince her that she is the only woman for him?
The Kandy Shoppe is one of the best erotic romances I have ever read! Kandy is very easy to relate to as the woman who was rejected and has no intention of allowing the same man to do so again. I also found Jason easy to relate to as the man who was too young when he met “the one” and as such was unable to handle it, and so botched it instead. These two spark off each other so easily that as a reader I found myself just waiting for the fireworks that I knew were coming, and not just the sexual ones. The love making scenes are gloriously hot, but there is an undercurrent of strong emotion flowing through them as well which as a reader I find crucial to a good story. A beautiful love story as well as one hot read, I highly recommend The Kandy Shoppe to one and all!
