Stavros Denakis is one of the wealthiest men in Europe. He lost his wife four years ago in an explosion before they could even begin their honeymoon. As he plans his engagement party, he is surprised to learn his wife has resurfaced.
Tessa Marlowe is not after Stavros’ money. She only wishes to return the ring he gave her and then leave. Unfortunately, he is determined to keep her at his home until he gets all the answers surrounding her real disappearance.
Stavros cannot believe one of the female guests at his engagement party holds the ring with the family seal. The one that has been in his family ever since one of the ancestors wore it during the War of Independence, and holds more recent memories of a time he will never forget. After Tessa gets a glimpse of Stavros, his mere presence affects her the same way like their very first meeting. Stavros refuses to believe this is Tessa, even though she has the ring, bearing the symbol of the Denakis House. She died in an explosion four years ago. Tessa claims she was only injured and unconscious, and wishes to return his property, then leave. He believes she has deceived him and deprived him of coupling with his wife all these years. She contends their marriage was a sham, but he reassures it was legit and will do everything to prove she belongs to him, but is his love for real or is he only out for vengeance?
The Greek Tycoon’s Unexpected Wife definitely has twists and turns that keep the reader entertained. I was completely overjoyed with the cast, and adored Tessa. I love how she stands her ground to Stavros and can share in her sorrow when she believes she will never be loved by him. He has qualities that make him loving in his own way. Ms. West has delightfully crafted an intriguing read that does not leave a pause with this reader. I practically devoured every page, unable to put it down. One cannot help but be captivated the way this beautiful story unfolds.
