Domino Black is a black ops assassin. She has been on her own since she was fifteen and has no lasting relationships, other than her job and her handler. In line for a promotion, she has to find and eliminate a traitor selling secrets out of the trendy Club Cicero in Chicago.

Luke Brasco has built himself a solid business out of nothing. When he discovers that someone is stealing from him, he suspects his less than motherly stepmother, but is unable to prove it. Another unknown factor is a new tenant in his building that he is determined to get to know very thoroughly.

A traitor is selling secrets out of a nightclub in Chicago. Operatives in sensitive areas are dying as a result. The Agency sends its most efficient operator in to handle the problem. They suspect the club owner, Luke Brasco, but as she gets to know him better, Domino hopes that the traitor is someone else.

This is a quick moving and action packed book. Domino is exactly as billed; a beautiful killing machine who finds that she actually has a heart. Luke is a much more likeable character, and the reader will almost feel sorry for him. He is a good person with no luck in his relationships. His stepmother Gloria is perfect as the self-centered party girl she portrays. The romance is well written and the story line is interesting and easy to follow. The subplot involving Mikey, the security guy, and the sleazy waitress, had no purpose in the plot, but otherwise, I really enjoyed this novel.
