Arais-sun Abrengo is an amnesiac after crash landing on a planet. She is taken as a prisoner, then sold on the slave market to a mercenary. With no memory, she is given a name “Asha” by her Master and treated as a sex slave.

Tangus Xalor is the last commander of the Seti Space Corps and he buys Asha for a breeding program to re-populate his race after his planet is destroyed, leaving only the males in the space fleet alive.

Arais is Abrengo royalty; niece to the Dowager Eminence on Da Frunn III. She crashes while on a mission and is kept by Tangus as a pleasure slave. Her virginity is brutally taken and is sexually treated as a true slave, including lots of bondage to start. On his ship he is her Master. Not caring who she might be, only out for justice and revenge against the Fusion, he falls into his own trap when she is rescued. Reuniting with family she realizes that what her planet needs is what Tangus has to offer; the males that their race has few of. So she goes back to make Tangus an offer he cannot refuse.

This is part of a new carnal romance line and is just that; very carnal. In this case the ends justify the means, though it is not the way I would have suspected it. Turnaround is fair play in this story and she gets to get him back as well. I do like that both races found a mutual solution to their problems. Although, to be fair, this book will appeal to those definitely into to bondage and slave and master themes. What starts out rough and gritty does turn out very nicely and loving with a new future for all.
