John Stuart is an Englishman on the run from the law because of false murder charges
against him. His Uncle Henry has sent him from his beloved England to the Stuart Ranch
in Wyoming to hide out until he can prove John’s innocence.

Softhearted Sal Bigington works in Laramie City’s saloon.  She has had a hard life
dealing with outlaws and many other things in the untamed Wyoming countryside.  When
she meets John for the first time, she knows there is something special about this
Englishman.

John has had a long hard journey to Laramie City.   When he finally arrives, he sees a
lady trying to load some heavy packages onto her wagon.  Helping her, he wonders
where her husband is.  She introduces herself as Inga Tollefson, telling John her
husband Torv is injured with a broken arm and that they could use some help on their
farm.  John accepts the offer even though he knows nothing about farm work.  Before
going to the farm, he visits the saloon for a drink where he meets Sal, changing his life
forever.  Although he thinks she is an amazing lady, many obstacles keep John and Sal
apart.  He is on the run from the English authorities.  He has also made an enemy of a
very powerful rancher, Arthur Clay.  Will John be able to prove his innocence?  Can he
settle his differences with Arthur Clay? And will John be shocked when he discovers Sal’
s true identity?

The Remittance Man will take you back to the Wild West, transporting you to a time
when gunfights, bandits, and saloons were all a part of normal life.  K B Ross brings the
Western Frontier to life!
