Nicky Malloy has been on the run for three years for a crime she did not commit.  In one
night, her world is shattered as her twin brother is gunned down and she escapes.  Still
haunted by that night, she is on the run, trying to escape bounty hunters.  This is now a
way of life for her, as is disguising herself as a boy.  She misses her family, but the
instinct to survive is greater than her urge to get revenge on those who killed her brother.

Tyler Calhoun is a bounty hunter hired by Owen Hoffman, the man responsible for the
death of Nicky's brother.  For three thousand dollars, he will bring in this wanted woman
alive.  Believing she is responsible for murder and stealing money from Hoffman, he
takes the job to track her down.  He does not believe that a mere woman can elude him
because he's the best at tracking down the most wanted in the territory.

When he finally tracks her down, he listens to her story, although he doesn't really believe
her until she is able to come up with proof.  With men on their trail behind them and
Hoffman at the end of their journey, Tyler vows that he will make sure she is set free.  
Somewhere along the line, he falls in love with this strong woman.  Unfortunately, he
feels the wife of a bounty hunter is not the life for her.

I absolutely loved this riveting story.  Nicky is a strong female character who gripped my
imagination and did not let go until the final word.  The action in this story is wonderful,
and I could not wait to see what happens next.  Beth Williamson has an extraordinary
talent that I cannot wait to see again.  This book was an absolute delight to read.
