Brooke Ashby is head writer for Secrets, a soap opera. Her line of work consists of developing some peculiar schemes but when she suddenly learns she has a twin sister, and the sister is now missing, Brooke feels as if she has awaken in her own soap opera role. Her sister, Cameron, is an heiress, engaged to Sloane, who could inherit her money, so Brooke heads off in search of the identical twin she has never met. It never crossed her mind she would be tossed into the arms of Sloane with a deepening fire erupting.

Sloane Campbell was the orphaned son of a man who once ran the McKenzie ranch. Seeking to make his own fortune, he left for a while to become a horse trainer. In the process, he met Cameron, and they become an item until her sudden departure. When she unexpectedly returns, he is surprised she has amnesia.

Brooke feels the only way to learn what happened to her twin sister, Cameron McKenzie, is to go to the ranch and do her own selective search. Since she is an identical twin, she decides to fake amnesia, and become her sister to fit in and learn more about the man she is engaged. The word was that Cameron was a bit headstrong and because of pre-wedding jitters had gone off for a while to try to settle her nerves. Brooke needed to learn the real reason for her sister’s departure. Sloane is a bit upset that Cameron has put their marriage on hold and run off for five weeks, without even a word to her father. When she returns, he wants to know just what kind of game she was playing, not realizing that it was really Brooke. As Brooke begins hunting for little hints that would lead her to the whereabouts of Cameron, she begins to form a closer relationship with Sloane. And just as the two begin some sensual passion, eyes are open and the bottom begins to fall in, but only Brooke can tell if the truth will be revealed to Sloane before she learns the whereabouts of her sister.

Tell Me Your Secrets is one compelling read. Brooke takes the reader on a ride with twists and turns, not to mention a few delights along the way that makes this a scrumptious page-turner. I loved the fortitude that Brooke exhibited throughout the story. When she and Sloane had intimate close encounters, the scenes were moving and full of passion. Ms Summers has a way of penning stories to allow the characters to become real and emit their emotions for the reader practically to feel. The in-depth secondary characters were a great addition to the story. Ms. Summers even made me feel the ambience of the farm and the horses. She places pizzazz and zest with an excellent climax to a heart-throbbing read with joie de vivre.
