Kalen Ysindroc, a general in the service of King Andrion, is sent to the edge of the kingdom on a mission, one that turns out to be more than he bargained for.
Micheil Thierauf is also in the service of the king, as a sorcerer. He has misgivings about Kalen’s mission. But he has a job of his own to do, and his own secrets to keep.
When Kalen is injured, Micheil rushes to his side. However, the man he loves has changed. Suddenly discovering magic of his own, Kalen, struggles to control it as the pair fall deeper into intrigue and danger.
I found The Lost Son a good read. The characters were likeable and the plot was fast paced and interesting. The author writes two male characters in love while maintaining a strong masculinity for both. The open ending was a wonderful tease as well. A fun way to spend a little free time.
