Jamie is totally independent and very inhibited. She does not like to be told what to do or when to do it. She just does what she likes. She is a free spirit who refuses to be tied down to anyone or anything. Caleb is Jamie's lover. He has the same free spirited attitude, not wanting to be tied down. Yet his feelings for Jamie are changing and he questions a few what ifs.
Mia is Jamie's best friend. They have been friends since they were kids. However, she has only been with one man and is very inexperienced in her sexual experiences, but her curiosity has peaked as to what else is out there.
Aiden is Mia's lover. He feels he knows exactly what Mia wants and needs and feels he is the only one to give that to her. But his feelings change after a long, adventurous weekend.
Before Jamie leaves for greener pastures, she suggests a swap to Mia as a way for Mia to explore her sexual curiosity. Reluctantly Mia agrees as do the men in their lives. What the weekend brings them besides an enormous amount of sex are revelations about themselves as well as their friendships.
This was an interesting read. I liked it yet I did not like it. The characters are well written and very likeable. The storyline is believable yet I just could not connect completely with the story. I did, however, like the fact that throughout the story each character dealt with their inner self and accepted who they were.
Note: This book contains some bondage, m/f, f/f/m, m/f/f couplings and large numbers of sexual encounters.
