Susanna (Susan) Brennon is the Maid of Honor at her brother, Jason’s wedding. When a quick check of the menu for the rehearsal dinner needs to fixed, she is quick to assess the situation. Then person in charge says he will correct it if Susan will have dinner with him.
Michael Piccoli is not an easy man to read and sometimes a bit of a mystery. He is a passionate man who approaches life with zest. He owns the restaurant where Susan’s brother is holding the rehearsal dinner. One look at Susan and an immediate attraction forms.
Susan has been there for Jason ever since their parent’s death. As Maid of Honor, one of her duties falls upon checking out a mix-up in the rehearsal dinner menus. She never expected to feel so drawn to Michael when they meet. He really likes Susan but does not wish a repeat with what he had with his last girlfriend. At least Susan knows how to take care of family; it shows with the way she handles matters for Jason. Michael wants her like he has never wanted another woman. Susan loves the way he calls her Susanna, it sounds so much full of love more than when anyone else uses her whole name, but is their relationship enough to make it last?
Susanna’s Seduction is a sweet romance. Patrice Michelle creates genuine characters with real emotions and charismatic dialogue that keeps the reader absorbed with every page. The heated chemistry between Michael and Susan is so stirring. Their lives made me feel so much a part of the story. The upscale Italian restaurant, with the handsome Michael as owner, enhances an ambience that can be felt in this fashionable read. This is one story that is a winner in my book.
