Matthew Peters' mother has passed away. Or at least the woman he thought was his mother. On her deathbed she informs him he was adopted. After years of abuse and being mistreated, Matthew finds out he has a twin brother who was raised by their birth mother.

Allison Lawrence has no clue at first that Matthew has taken her husband John's place. But when the man she thinks is her husband gets out of jail after being cleared of murder, she notices a difference. She knows this is not her husband but decides to give him space and see if he will tell her the truth.

Matthew knows he is messing up with little things. He just does not know how much. After several months living as John, he knows he has to tell Allison the truth. However, he feels he has the perfect life now and truly believes he is making Allison happier than John ever could. Will she run from him once she learns the truth or will she be willing stay with him?

As I read this book and really got into the story I realized that yes this is a thriller. I felt it was a bit over the top the way the story played out and some parts were very hard for me to read. I do believe this is a well written story and the author did a commendable job. The sex is hot enough to start fires. If you like thrillers, you might want to pick this one up and have a read.
