Eden Scott runs SPEL, the society for the preservation of erotic literature. Over the last few years, Eden has been in correspondence with Aaron Crews about several books, but this is the first time she has been up close and felt the chemistry between them sizzle. But right now, Eden needs Aaron for a totally different reason, and a lot rides on his help.
Aaron Crews owns a rare book store in Atlanta and knows Eden only by his correspondence of emails. He had not realized she was a beauty, but Aaron is in Palm Beach at this exclusive club for a different reason -- The Pearl, the whole eighteen volumes of an old erotic set. Aaron cannot wait for the tour to see these valuable and exotic books. Aaron has some time before the tour, and apparently Eden has ideas of how she wants to spend it.
Seducing Aaron was not part of the original plan but Eden finds she can’t resist the temptation to do so when she approaches him about some very embarrassing photos her ex is holding over her head and asks Aaron to them back for her. Aaron listens to Eden about the photos and sympathizes with her; after all he is not a thief, is he? When Aaron leaves, Eden is devastated; she has not only lost her heart but has no way of getting to those photos. Aaron knew he could not let things go away between Eden and himself, but how does she feel about him and should he try at love again?
Great things do come in small packages, and this spectacular story is proof. Ms. Hunt does an incredible job of creating fascinating characters along with a clever plot that keeps you in suspense then topping it off with wild and steamy sex scenes. This reader loved that there was not a dull moment and was constantly entertained by the unexpected twist and turns in the wonderful tale. A phenomenal read for a phenomenal price.
