Sascha Duncan is one of a large psychic race of people that have been conditioned not to feel emotions in order to keep peace and prevent total chaos. Those who feel emotions are punished severely, and ultimately destroyed. That is why she must keep the feelings she has a complete and total secret. If she does not, that can mean trouble for her.
Lucas Hunter is a Changeling, a shapeshifter who shifts in panther form. He so loves the ability to touch and feel... in fact, he craves it. He is a hunter out on the prowl, looking for a killer among them. He also wants to find out what makes Sascha such a unique Psy. He cannot help but wonder what is underneath that sterile coldness.
Two completely different worlds collide under business tactics and the serial murders of Changeling women. Sascha and Lucas must find a way to trust each other and work together to help each other through this dangerous situation, which can easily mean life or death for one of them, or maybe even both. They each know the danger they face if they were to form a relationship, but can they resist temptation?
Swoon! I absolutely love Lucas. He is a strong, yet gentle man. I found myself wishing I were in Sascha’s place. Slave to Sensation leaves the reader gasping for more. Very well written characters collide with an awesome storyline that has more twists and turns than a roller coaster. I can just imagine this type of story becoming a reality. Nalini Singh definitely has a very wild imagination that will bring much success!
