Logan is a graduate student who wanders into the basement of the museum where he works and awakens Seti. A missing mummy added to his troubles of dealing with a difficult and boring job. Logan decides to take Seti home until he can figure out what to do with him.

The police and modern day life are concerns of both Seti and Logan, as it is discovered that a group of scientists want Seti for more than just a companion, believing he holds the secret to eternal life. To top it off, one upset Egyptian god also has plans for Seti. On top of all that, Logan quickly realizes that Seti has been trying to get into his pants and his heart.

I really enjoyed this story! Ms. Kelly has crafted a tale with tight writing. Her sex scenes flowed delicately off the pages in a manner that scintillated. Her attention to detail in writing could use a little help. Some may find the POV switches annoying but they were integral to the story. Imagery of the Underworld will make the reader feel what Seti feels. I cannot wait to see more from Kiernan Kelly.
