Jack Waco lost his wingman, the woman he loved, eleven years ago. He likes being a loner and does not want to train a new SENTI pilot. But as it is an order, he follows through and loses his heart.

Maggie Wilson is looking for a change. When she is accepted as a SENTI pilot, she cannot wait to begin her training. Yet she knows she must keep her distance from Jack or she could easily fall in love with him.

Jack does his best to dissuade his boss from having him train Maggie. Once she begins her three month run with him, she informs him she only wants to be friends. As they make their runs, she tells him about the mysterious death of her husband and the information her father has found. When Jack and Maggie have two main suspects into custody, the fight of their lives begins. With danger all around them, they decide to keep the system they have found and live there as well. Of course they don't expect the mercenary group to try their best to kill them and destroy what they have found together.

SENTI is an amazing read and one meant to be savored slowly to gain the effects of everything that is happening. The world is amazing and brought to life with such clarity, you actually feel as though it could exist. G.W. Pickle has given us everything a great story needs, action, adventure, revenge, justice and of course, just a dash of romance. Page after page offers new challenges and new questions. As a reader I found this fascinating as most of the answers were not what or who I expected. This was a well thought out book and I look forward to reading the second in this series.
