Faith Black runs a secret agency, TAG. All of her operatives have special abilities, she is biokinetic and telekinetic with the ability to kill or heal. Her sister has been missing since the death of her parents when she was a child.
Wyatt Kennedy works for a similar but much larger agency, ARCO. He is telekinetic but has a particularly effective talent. He emits pheromones that make him irresistible to both men and women and that are forgotten after the encounter.
The evil agency ITOR has a machine that can control the weather. Their first experiment was Hurricane Katrina, and now they have created an even bigger storm that is headed straight for New York. Faith needs the machine to free her sister from kidnappers and Wyatt has been assigned to destroy the machine.
This is a very exciting and suspenseful novel. The two main characters have similar paranormal abilities and are both very attracted to each other, but do not know how to have a relationship. It does not help that they work for competing agencies. In spite of it all, they both try to be honest with each other and help each other as much as they can without compromising their own missions. There are three very good subplots that add depth to the story, but Annika and Creed’s tale really should have a book of its own. It does show more about ARCO, but had little to do with Wyatt and Faith. The author writes a suspenseful story with complex and sympathetic characters, evil villains and some interesting twists at the end. This page turner is very difficult to put down.
