Adult Erotic Romance
Rating: 3 Cups
Olivia, a housewife deep into empty nest syndrome, begins dreaming of a Roman gladiator and a Roman General husband who gives her great pleasure. During her waking hours she feels lost and is looking hard to get control of her life and emotions, including strengthening her marriage. Olivia also needs to discover the meaning of her dreams.
Her husband, Donald, travels frequently but is thinking of retiring to bring his marriage back to the way it was. Fearful of losing his wife, Donald is willing to broaden their boundaries sexually to get her excited again.
As the couple faces their future, things are happening that could tear their marriage apart if they do not focus on what is important. From past lives to modern day gang bangers, Olivia and Donald must work together or lose all that they have.
Roman Rhapsody is a busy story full of interesting subplots that hails back to the 80’s style of designer bags and the extremely rich. Donald and Olivia are perfect examples of a wealthy but truly in love couple who decided to work on saving their marriage. I enjoyed this part of the book the most. The couple has a busy life and the story goes into directions that keep readers interested. The support characters are unique and each makes a true impact in the storyline and the dialogue fits well with the book’s style. Roman Rhapsody is a good book and I hope to see more from Ms. Trevalyan in the future.
