Forced into prostitution at a young age, Lily Barnett owns her own brothel. She makes a living for herself and does not answer to any man, which is just the way she likes it. Her heart and body belong to no one but herself.
Wade McReynolds is an ex-con released on a special parole. He served two years in prison for a bank robbery he never committed. Water helps him keep his ranch running, and Lily owns the water rights.
Lily and Wade have a deal. For every week of water he uses, Wade has to come into town and give Lily a night of pleasure. Wade does not find it a hardship to visit Lily. After a month of “paying” for his water, Wade and Lily’s hearts begin to lead them in a different direction. Will the universe cooperate with their ideas?
From the title alone, you can see this book will be full of spice. Until you begin reading it, you cannot see the sweetness lying between the covers. I enjoyed the sensuality of this story, as well as Lily’s determination to be her own woman. Wade is the cowboy many of us dream about -- strong, sexy and sensitive. Ms. LaBud takes the Old West and turns the temperature up.
Caution: This title contains steamy sex, graphic language and red hot romance
