Kalina is a sorceress for the Torak kings, and is a weretiger. Well versed in pleasuring men and in the art of BDSM, she has always felt she is not destined to be anyone’s mate. When she meets Eral, she is instantly and powerfully attracted, but some part of her senses he will want more, and so she avoids him.

Eral is second in line to the throne of Atlantis, and is a werefin. On a visit to attend the joining ceremony of Lord Kir of Oz and his mate Abby, he finds himself drawn to Kalina. Even knowing she has been bedmate to all four of the Kings of Tarok does not faze him, and he has no intention of allowing Kalina to avoid him forever.

When Kalina has a vision of impending doom for Atlantis, she races to the undersea kingdom, hoping to prevent what she has seen. However, she arrives too late to prevent the first catastrophe, but not so late that she cannot turn the ultimate outcome in Eral’s favor, or so she hopes. When a sorcerer bent on everyone’s destruction gets Kalina within his grasp it is only the love Kalina and Eral have for each other that frees Kalina’s magic and gives them a chance at a positive outcome.

As fantasy romances go, this was by far one of the best I have read. Beautiful and highly sensual, the love between Eral and Kalina is well scripted and a joy to read about. The love scenes are so hot they almost scorched my fingers! The world building is well defined and highly descriptive, which made the story that much more fun. If you enjoy your fantasy and romance together, then this is the book for you!
