After Lacey has an argument with her fiancé, Dylan, she storms out of the house and goes for a drive. When she spots a man walking in the rain, she gives him a ride.
Adam has the looks of a magazine model. He really believes Lacey is one beautiful woman. What turned out to be a hot night of romance, turns into much more.
Lacey does not know what prompted her to give the handsome stranger a ride and then stop at a hotel. The fight with Dylan made her want to clear her mind. He was constantly bringing up her fertility problem and babies. Upon arriving at the hotel with the handsome man, neither throws out their names. When the two finally make their introductions, Lacey knows he is the man for her. After she returns home, she tells Dylan the soon-to-be wedding is over. She wants to move on. Throwing some things in a suitcase, she heads back to the hotel to Adam. Deciding to break away from Adam, they run into each other four months later and she discovers Adam is Dylan’s employer. When she pays Dylan a visit, and the three meet each other, sparks fly in more ways than one.
Rain Fell Down is a read that makes the reader wonder what if? From the conversation Dylan and Lacey share, one can tell there is not much love there, or who the grownup really is. Adam and Lacey have other ways in speaking that brings out their passion and chemistry. Ms Davis spins a motivating read between two characters that take a chance and end up turning to each other. With a couple of twists and turns that fall into play, this story shows one should definitely think before they leap into any relationship.
