Morgan Taj Zephyrain is doing the best she knows how when it comes to training the Prince of Dkr. She has no complaints from his parents about the way she trains the prince, so when she is replaced and arrested, it all comes as quite a shock. The reason behind her replacement becomes evident when she realizes the evil man who was her first master is now the regent of Dkr.

Len Braxton has no clue what he has landed in this time. All he knows is his job is to find out if this Morgan is the original Morgan Taj Zephyrain and kill her. He is not supposed to be married to her or fall in love with her. What he thought would be an easy job has turned into an all out war.

Morgan learns of the Prophecy of Vithan from her cousin but does not believe him. She and Len are being hunted as criminals after the regent kills the king and queen and Khai, now heir to the throne, has disappeared. But coming into contact with an Amazon village outside the dome on Vithan, is a far cry from being safe.

The future world in this book is both foreign and unlike anything I have ever read and absolutely amazing. Morgan is the tough woman she needs to be, but has a softer side that she hides very well. Len wants to protect her and love her but wars with himself and with his orders over what to do about Morgan. The struggle and the pain that are encountered in this book is true of everyday life and that is what makes this story so 'down to earth'. Ms. Leatherman is an author to keep your eye on for more exciting work down the road.
