Diamondback Ranch is a dream come true for Flint McKade. He has achieved everything he set out to and more, but there has always been something missing, and that is someone to share it with.
Dr. Lora Leigh Whittaker could never imagine her life spiraling so out of control. Her family's ranch is gone, her father commits suicide, and now her brother is missing, and all because of one man, Flint McKade.
Lora Leigh cannot believe she is going to work as a vet for the Diamondback Ranch, but it is the only way to find out what happened to her brother Johnny. She despises a man she has never met, but after meeting him, she is only more confused. She knows her brother was in a rage over losing the family farm, but could he be the one who is behind all of the trouble at Diamondback? Flint's stellar reputation, absolute love for his animals, and undeniable sex appeal have Lora Leigh feeling sick with guilt and breathless with desire.
Platinum Cowboy starts out the Diamonds and Daddies series with gusto. The characters come alive in a setting so real you can almost smell the hay, and hear the pounding of hooves. Lora Leigh's suspicions of Flint, especially knowing of her brother's mental state is hard to accept, but her character is teetering on the edge of despair, and Flint soon becomes her rock. This book will be a hard act to follow, but I am certain, given four gorgeous men and beautiful Arabian horses, they will all be a pleasure to read.
