Samantha McGregor has a God given gift that allows her to help people. When she starts seeing an act of bullying, she tries to find the boy to help him. But even more disturbing is the vision she sees of a high school prom.

Ebony is Samantha's close friend and also a policewoman. She was partner's with Sam's father before he was killed. After Samantha tells Ebony of her vision of the prom, she starts looking into which schools have a prom coming up. Unfortunately, there seems to be one every weekend and in order to stop the crime, Ebony tells Sam she must go to them all.

Samantha struggles with the visions of the prom and of the boy being bullied. It bothers her but even more troubling is the fact that the man her mother is seeing, turns out to be a real creep. About the only good news she has is that her brother is back in rehab and has committed his life to God. But that leaves Sam alone to deal with the very harsh reality that if she cannot find the right prom, there will be a blood bath she could have prevented.

Ms. Carlson ends her Samantha MacGregor series with a bang. Although I found the first person aspect a bit confusing at times, it was still a poignant story. I was moved to tears with the story of the young man being bullied. I found her characters to be strong in their faith in God and their personal convictions. Ms. Carlson is without a doubt, one of the great Christian authors I have read.
