Julia Torrison is now an analyst for the CIA. Her days as a field operator ended in Berlin along with her partnership and love affair with CIA Agent Conrad Flynn. It has taken over a year’s worth of tears and heartache, but she is finally moving on, thanks to Director of Operations Michael Stone.
Conrad Flynn is an undercover agent for the CIA; so far under cover that only a couple of people know he is still alive. His staged death meant the freedom to uncover the mole within the CIA, but in doing so he knows he hurt Julia in the most devastating way.
Julia loves Michael, of that she has no doubt. He brought her back from the brink of despair when she believed Con had been killed. Now she knows the truth, and mad does not even come close to what she feels for Con. However it only takes the touch of his lips for flames of desire to flare to life. She and Con have a connection that can only be described as soul mates. She is like a moth to his light, and no matter how much it hurts she cannot stay away. The reasons behind his disappearance are hard for her to ignore, and even harder for her to accept. The CIA traitor must be uncovered, and Julia is determined to find them even if it means hurting the men she loves.
This is a top notch romantic suspense novel with emphasis on the suspense. The speed with which the action scenes are delivered will leave you breathless. As the story unfolds the reader is immersed in the high intensity world of espionage. The characters in this story fulfill their roles perfectly, strong, heroic, and of course dangerously sexy. Ms. Evans takes you on a wild ride, one that you will hate to see end. This is definitely worth your time and money. I will await her next installment of Super Agents with great anticipation.
