ONE WRONG MOVE

Rayma O’Riley is a news anchor who would rather be doing investigative reporting. Her luck with men is bad; in fact, men are one of the reasons she moved from Austin to South Padre, Texas. She meets Camden after airing footage on television of him in a fight in the restaurant he works in.
Camden Alexander is a DEA agent who has been working undercover for the last two years, trying to get enough evidence on a local drug dealer to put him behind bars. When Rayma airs the pictures of the fight, he knows he is going to have to deal with the pretty reporter.
When Rayma is given concrete proof of the drug dealer’s guilt, and airs the evidence on the local news, she inadvertently puts her life in danger. When Camden overhears that a death contract has been put out on Rayma, he rescues her. However, they are not out of the water yet. With one agent with her own agenda working against them, and with the drug dealer becoming increasingly suspicious of Camden, not to mention the problem of Camden and Rayma falling in love, nothing is easy.
One Wrong Move is non-stop action from beginning to end. Rayma’s distrust of men creates many a tangle for Camden to unravel, which makes this story that much more compelling. Reading as Camden tries to come to grips with the fact that this woman is the one he wants, when all he has ever wanted before was to catch the bad guys, is humorous. I savored reading about their coming to trust and love each other. The characters are well drawn, and the world building believable. A truly enjoyable read, and romantic suspense at its best.
