ONE RING TO RULE
Rating: 4 Cups
Lindsey Cartwright is getting ready for another grueling convention when confronted with Kent. It has been four years, and the sultry voice still haunts her dreams, even if he did leave a good-bye note informing he was not the man she needed.
Kent Farrington use to call her Lindsay Hop, and now, years later, she is more attractive then ever. She is the most incredible woman he has ever met but how will he get her back when she continues to tune him out?
Lindsay is at her first convention in four years, as an editor of her own line, and does not need Kent ruining it. She wants nothing to do with him even though her heart says otherwise. Kent has missed her but Lindsay insists they are over, finished. He has never met a woman so driven, working on her crafts with the comics. He did not realize what a good thing he had until he left. He has a ranch now with horses. She can live with him, quit her job and write full time. Will she forfeit the real love she has for him only to lose him forever, or give in to his magnetic charm?
One Ring To Rule is a refreshing story that spells thrills the minute it starts. I love the introduction of Lindsay and Kent, and the way he pulls every plug to win her over again. It is non-stop delight and the games take on a different curve ball around every corner. Charlotte McClain instills romance and fun in this scrumptious tale. I thought the crisp dialogue between Lindsay and Kent was played out well, especially in the chase with Kent refusing to let go. The secondary cast adds enough zest to make this read precious to this reader.
