Merlin loves Nimue and wants to be with her. He also knows that with her powers as a Seer, she will have to be killed. He does not want to sentence her to death but when the Dal insist she help him defeat the approaching army, will he save her life or order her death?

Nimue and Merlin work side by side to protect Camelot, but is it enough? Nimue sees the future as it could turn out and she does not want Merlin to die. She just wants him for herself. Merlin tries to deny the feelings between them but in the end, he succumbs to her. Will Morgan win or can Nimue keep Merlin alive as well as defeat Morgan?

Wow is the only thing that comes to mind for this story. An amazing twist on the Merlin that I am sure we have read about time and again. Ms. Knox shows us the loving and caring side of the magician and she does it very well. She threads the passion so thickly through the pages, the reader cannot help but root for Merlin and Nimue. Even as the characters face the ultimate danger together, they also find love. The story line is strong and the characters have feelings unlike any I have read in a long while. This is one author that I will keep my eye on.
