Sean O’Sullivan has always had a no strings attached approach to relationships. He is not looking for anything permanent. He wants to help his brother, Gabe, with the bar that his family has run for generations. He hopes he has found an ally in Cleo Hollings in spite of what he has heard. She might have the backbone he is looking for to help him with the bar, although he just might lose his heart to her along the way.

Cleo Hollings does her job as Deputy Mayor well. Though some people think she works them too hard, they never get to see that she has a softer side underneath it all. Past relationships keep her from trying anymore, plus her mother needs her. She needs a little help but is very picky and does not want help from just anybody. Having Sean show up in her office jolts her back to life, but she is not sure she wants what he is offering, even though her body says something quite different.

People have too many opinions and Cleo does not have time to really care. That is, until Sean O’Sullivan shows up at her door asking for her help. She is not sure what to do at first but looking in his eyes keeps her pretty distracted. She asks around about his reputation and decides it will not be anything serious. She does not have time for that, but heating things up under the sheets is something she wants desperately. Sean seems agreeable at first, but somewhere along the line it comes across that he wants more, but can Cleo handle it?

Those O’Sullivan brothers are something else! Sean is definitely hot, but is going to get an education in love. Ms. O’Reilly writes a story full of passion and heart. These characters had me from the beginning to the last page. I was pleased at how well she wrapped things up in the end! I got all my questions answered and so much more. Definitely an author I want to read more by and a book I would recommend.
