NAUGHTY NUPTIALS-BRIDESMAID AND THE BEAST
Rating: 5 Cups
Sophia, the self proclaimed “luckiest girl in the world”, has agreed to be a bridesmaid for her odd co-worker. Now, she is wondering why her studly, but furry, boyfriend has never mentioned marriage.
Greg loves how Sophia looks in the tangerine bridesmaid’s gown but is curious about her sudden interest in marriage.
The stress of the wedding is getting to the couple, and as the day get closer, Sophia’s doubts about the future get bigger. Sophia is empathetic within a few lines, and Greg is hotter than most werewolves around. With a quick backdrop and a snippy “bridezilla” who is annoying yet redeemable, the book moves fast while entertaining to the last page.
Few writers are as good at quickly pulling in a reader as Marianne LaCroix. Even writing in the dreaded first person, I just loved Bridesmaid and the Beast, the follow up to Beast in My Bed. The sex is some of Ms. LaCroix’s finest but it is how Greg and Sophia are growing as a couple that is the real draw of the book in my opinion. The sex is supportive and really thrilling while reminding readers how much the couple care for each other. I recommend Bridesmaid and the Beast to all readers, and hope the next installment comes soon.
