Contemporary Erotic Romance

Sydney Stratton wants nothing more than to become the next big star in Nashville, just like most of the other great undiscovered people there. While she sings with her band, Road Kill, at the local bars and gets groped by the owners, Sydney dreams of the day her untapped talent gets discovered.
Dex Wilder is the newest country singer sensation to hit Nashville and is living the American dream of stardom. While at a promotional party, he spies a sexy waitress dressed as a Greek goddess and decides to make his presence known. What follows is an intense one night stand of hot and heavy sex for Dex and Sydney.
Two years have passed since that night and everywhere Sydney looks, she sees Dex’s face no matter how hard she tries to forget. For some reason, life gets in the way again and has her meeting up with Dex; this time it comes wrapped in a fight with a security guard, a pair of handcuffs, and a very steamy shower. Next thing she knows, it is her face plastered all over the tabloids and has her mother calling, the talent scouts thinking she’s easy, and Dex wanting to continue a relationship even as some other woman is claiming she is pregnant with his “love child.” What is a girl supposed to do when her one big dream begins to sound too much like a nightmare, and her dream man might end up being someone who likes a different girl each week?
Nashville Heat is so jam-packed with hilarious elements, sad emotions, broken dreams, and high hopes, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Ms. Michaels’ talent as a writer amazed me and had me so enthralled, I could not put this book down. If I could give this novel a higher rating than a 5 Cups, I would; it will just blow you away! With Sydney’s fresh outlook on making it on her own, not because she has a “connection” and Dex’s down-to-earth attitude, this beautiful tale of lust at first sight is just perfect! The romance is hot, the sex is sizzling (especially with those handcuffs, yikes!), and the overall storyline is a must-read, cannot miss story for everyone!
